Meet Sal-O-Gotchi: The Tiny Forest Friend Powered by Your Valley Eats Orders

If you have noticed a tiny pixel friend asking for snacks around Valley Eats lately, that is Sal.

Sal-O-Gotchi is our summer 2026 community pet: a Y2K-inspired digital sasquatch powered by Valley Eats orders across our communities. Every completed order helps feed Sal, earn XP, and push him closer to his next evolution.

The idea is simple. Order from Valley Eats, and Sal gets fed. Order again, and Sal keeps growing. As the community racks up feedings together, Sal moves through new stages, from his takeout-container beginnings all the way toward legendary status.

This is not a solo game. Sal belongs to everyone.

When one person orders lunch, dinner, coffee, or a late-afternoon treat, it helps the whole community. Every feeding adds to the shared progress bar. Every milestone unlocks a new version of Sal. And every visit to the Sal-O-Gotchi page shows how close we are to the next evolution.

Sal is starting small, but he has big summer energy. The community is working toward a series of evolution milestones: Hatchling, Toddler, Teen, Adult, and finally Legend. Reaching Legend takes 22,750 feedings, so every order counts.

There are also ways to earn bonus XP on your personal Sal page. Any order feeds Sal, but certain orders give him an extra boost, including morning orders, afternoon orders, retro partner orders, and multiple orders in the same day.

The whole thing is built to be fun, a little nostalgic, and very Valley Eats. It is part virtual pet, part community challenge, and part excuse to check in on a tiny forest friend who may or may not be dramatically hungry.

Most importantly, Sal is powered by local orders.
